The Perspectives Program is a course-based program run out of the Emily Carr Health Design Lab focusing on storytelling through co-designing with people living in longterm care. Throughout many meetings with our co-designers, sharing stories with each other and collaborating/gaining insight on the project direction, we developed these two boxes. Each box is unique to our co-designers and aims to encourage the sharing of their stories with others, through both the booklet and the box of organic blocks.

The booklet was designed and laid-out by my group mate, communication design student Mahnoor H. The boxes and blocks, as well as the illustrations engraved, were designed and produced by myself. Ivan and Ed were our co-designers for the project, giving us insight, ideas, and edits throughout the entire process, as well as their stories which are included with their corresponding symbol in their respective booklets.
